Here at Ashcroft we are committed to Outreach within the local community. In order to do this more effectively we have redeveloped our premises to provide a selection of rooms for hire and these attract a wide selection of outside organisations.
These range from U3A to uniformed groups such as Girls' Brigade. In addition to services, the church itself is used for larger group meetings, concerts and the like.
Hardly a day goes by when at least one room or another is in use and much attention is given to strengthening the ties with the community in this way.
Since October 2012, the members of Ashcroft Church have joined a large team of volunteers in hosting the Cirencester Foodbank, run on Trussell Trust guidelines. It is open every Monday afternoon and Thursday morning. Website: www.cirencester.foodbank.org.uk; Email: email@example.com.
There is now a Craft Group every Thursday from 10am to 12.00pm.
is held on a Friday morning, serving coffee from 10 to 11.15 am, and run by volunteers from the Church.
Cirencester Language Cafe
The Language Cafe is hold in the Church every Friday from 10am to 11.30 and is run alongside the Coffe Cup. Once a month, there will be a themed morning.
