Ashcroft Church caters particularly well for children with numerous groups and activities.

During every morning service there is a creche available where the "under threes" can play with soft toys. The children spend the first 10 to 15 minutes in the main service and then leave for their Sunday school classes.

'Squeals on Wheels'

meets on Tuesdays from 10 to 11.30 in term time. This gives an opportunity for children aged 0-4 years to play with toys, look at books, do some craftwork and sing songs accompanied with percussion instruments. Mothers and carers are there to supervise their children whilst having a chat with their friends. Click here for full details.

ARK Club

('Ashcroft Road Kids') meets on Friday evenings from 6.30 to 8pm and provides an opportunity to play computer games, snooker, table football, indoor hockey and football; to participate in art and craft activities; to purchase sweets and drinks at the tuck shop and to learn more about Christianity.
